'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' started with an aspiration: to serve authentic Neapolitan pizza to Rome. The Romano family, originating from 1985, opened our original small-scale, familial pizzeria using recipes preserved through generations.
The origins of 'Marco Romano', our innovator's mastery of pizza art, were honed while immersing themselves in travels across Italy, learning from renowned pizzaiolos in Naples, the origins of pizza. After arriving back in the UK, the mission was clear: to bring the essence of true Italian pizza with time-honored techniques, using only the best ingredients.
From our humble beginnings with just 12 seats, our pizzeria has evolved into a cherished local fixture. However, our dedication to craft and genuineness continues to stand firm. We preserve the tradition of wood-fired ovens, prepare our dough freshly each day, and choose the finest quality produce obtainable.
Today, 'Crust & Craft Pizzeria' is still under the care of the Romano family, with the next generation now guiding our dedicated team. While we’ve adopted some contemporary innovations, the essence of our foundation remains focused on delivering delectable, authentic pizza that brings our community together.
